Lenovo Vibe K4 Note Review

k4 note review

In this post, I will review the phone Lenovo Vibe K4 note which I bought one month ago. Too many things to say about it. Well, a lot of good things but a few not so great things as well.

K4 Note uses Android OS, v5.1.1 (Lollipop). This phone is powered by Chipset Mediatek MT6753 and CPU Octa-core 1.3 GHz Cortex-A53 and GPU Mali-T720MP3.The chipset has 3GB of RAM, which is an upgrade from 2GB of RAM on its predecessor. The internal storage on this handset is only 16GB, which can be expanded up to 128GB via microSD card slot. Strong CPU performance, Gaming Experience is incredible because of, firstly is obviously the powerful Adreno 510 GPU, which gives high Graphics output, secondly is the 3GB RAM, which makes the gameplay as smooth as possible, Big 5.5 inch Screen with upgraded sunlight display which adjust the display output according to the ambient surrounding. That’s why it’s a great device to play or watch because of the speed.

Sound:
Music lovers must buy it because of the stereo speakers. The Lenovo K4 Note is equipped with dual front speakers with Dolby Atmos. The Sound while playing videos and music in Dolby Atmos, you feel it all around you with enhanced audio. The details of sound are improvised when compared with any other device without any distortion. Audio is excellent over headphones too. This device offers Hi-Fi audio over headphones since it has built-in Wolfson DAC chip.

Camera:
The camera is quite good for this price, but a little passable photos one can see in dim lights. It has the 13-megapixel sensor on the rear,f/2.2, phase detection autofocus and a 5-megapixel sensor on the front; the back is accompanied by the Dual LED CCT Flash while there is no flash supporting the front module. It also has few features like Geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, HDR, panorama and video [email protected] liked the video in spite of not having Optical image stabilization. The face detection Auto Focus support which is present in the rear camera is not that great.

Battery:
Non-removable Li-Po 3300 mAh battery. It offers Up to 265 h (3G) in standby mode and Up to 23 h (2G) / Up to 22 h (3G) in talk time mode. The battery backup is great. It should easily last a day with moderate usage. The heating issue of the phone is decent like any other phone, no faults in it even while playing the game for hours or watching a movie.

Display:
The Lenovo K4 Note smartphone’s 13.97cm (5.5) FHD 1080p screen is made for multimedia. This display shows out 450Nits brightness and has 1000:1 contrast ratio making the colors pop out of your images and videos.Vivid display 5.5 inches Full HD display luminous screen is pretty impressive. The screen has 441-pixel density with 178-degree wide angle.

Other features:
Sensors: Fingerprint, accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass.
K4 Note comes with a fast fingerprint scanner that is super responsive. Apart from unlocking your phone, it has unique and useful gestures like taking a picture, Multitasking menu and back button to the fingerprint scanner.
The device has an excellent build quality. It’s a proper dual-sim phone with a dedicated microSD card slot beside the two micro SIM slots. We get a included transparent back cover.
Vibe UI offers few tricks like double tap to wake or auto answer when you take the phone close to your ear.I work great. It also has flip-to-silence and flip-to-standby.
